Biographies of each member of the Communisis Board of Directors can be found below.

Peter Hickson

Chairman (appointed December 2007)

Peter has been Chairman of Communisis plc since December 2007.

He is currently Chairman of the defence company, Chemring Group PLC and Senior Independent Director of Coalfield Resources plc (formerly UK Coal plc).

He is also a trustee and board member of Orbis International, the sight saving charity. Previous appointments include Chairman of Anglian Water Group, Finance Director of PowerGen plc, and non-executive directorships at Kazakhmys PLC, London & Continental Railways Limited, Scottish Power plc, Marconi Corporation plc and RAC plc.

Andy Blundell

Chief Executive (appointed October 2009)

Andy joined Communisis in January 2008 as Managing Director of Print Sourcing
and became Group Sales Director in November 2008.

He was later appointed to the Board as Chief Executive designate in August 2009 and took on the role permanently in October 2009.

Formerly Andy was a Managing Director at BemroseBooth Limited and a Managing Director at De La Rue plc.

Nigel Howes

Finance Director (appointed March 2011)

Nigel was appointed as Non-Executive Director in December 2007.

He became an executive director in the role of Strategic Planning and Development Director in September 2010 before taking on the additional role of Finance Director in March 2011.

Nigel is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Acceleris Marketing Communications Limited.

Formerly he was Non-Executive Director of SCS Upholstery plc and Wraith plc. Prior to this he was an Audit and Advisory Partner at Deloitte and at Arthur Andersen.

Michael Firth

Non-Executive Director and
Senior Independent Director

Michael is Non-Executive Director of Network Rail Limited and Henderson European Focus Trust plc.

Formerly he was Non-Executive Director of Somerfield plc and First Technology PLC, and Head of Corporate Banking for HSBC Bank plc.

Dave Rushton

Group Managing Director (appointed November 2009)

Dave is responsible for sales, technology development and operational delivery functions across the business.

Dave joined Communisis in 2003 as General Manager for Transactional Print and was appointed Managing Director of Direct Mail in 2007 before becoming Group Operations Director in 2008. In August 2009 he was appointed to the Board and in November 2011, he became Group Managing Director.

Dave has previously held general management roles with St Ives plc, Rexam plc and Avery Dennison Corporation.

Jane Griffiths

Non- Executive Director (appointed May 2012)

Marketing Director EMEA for Citibank NA and, as a senior advertising and marketing executive.

Jane has previously worked for a number of major global agencies including Ogilvy in New York and Korea, Arc Worldwide London (part of the Leo Burnett Group), TBWA\GGT London and was a Board Director of OgilvyOne London.
